I normally read fridayflash with music on in the background, when I started reading your story I turned the volume right down as your descriptions are really captivating.

Loved the descriptions.
Loved her father’s simple faith in her strength… what can be more beautiful than a parent’s unconditional love?

Wow! You pack a lot of story into each sentence. I always have to give your stories a dedicated read. If I don’t pay 100 percent attention, I feel like I missed something good — and important. (This is a good thing — Margret Atwood commands my attention in the same way).

I love the image of fading away into nothing. What a wonderful way to describe grief and loss.

Truly, this is a fantastic story.
